Welcome To The New HIDEMYPC.

The website has had a complete over haul. There are new featuers on the site like the Mail forwarding service, and the short/anonymous URL service.

We are finalising the File upload, and Dynamic DNS sections of the website.

HideMyPC was originally created as many users are not internet savy. Computers will get Virus/Torjan/Spam/Malware etc. Unfortantly it is a part of life. HideMyPC is one way we can hopefully prevent alot of this by the following:

  • PROXY: While browsing thru our proxy, noone can install a virus on you’re computer(unless you accept) and they can not steal your cookies. This means you are almost invisible to the internet
  • MAIL FORWARDING: If you create an email address on one of our 6 domains, we will simply then forward that to you’re proper email address. You can then use this email thru out the internet without the risk of someone selling that email. This is also passed thru Spam and Anti-Virus filters first
  • URL SHORTNER: The whole idea of this originally was just make it easier for people going to longer URL’s. However the fact that its masking the orinal URL it means you can post the shortende link, and without actually clicking on the link you have no idea where it will take it. Good way to stop google caching a link on a forum, etc.
  • FILE UPLOAD(Comming Soon): You can now share files without the risk of sending on a virus. You will be able to upload a file(200MB Per File) and then share the link with your friend’s. You will be able to delete the file as soon as its not longer needed aswell
  • DYNAMIC DNS: have you ever wanted to be able to remote into you’re home computer? But you have a dynamic IP? Well with our Dynamic DNS service you can create a domain IE john.hidemypc.com.au. This will automatically update when you’re home IP has changed. Meaning you can access it whenever, wherever

    • HIDEMYPC is a completely free service, as we believe you should be able to browse without running the risk of someone taking advantage of you or you’re computer. SAFE SURFING!!
